How it all Started

Welcome to Project Healing Hive (PHH), a nonprofit community trust fund dedicated to bringing integrative mental health and wellness services to underserved communities. Inspired by our founder’s personal journey in seeking healing and support after the tragic loss of her husband to suicide, PHH was created to bridge the gap to holistic care for those who need it most.​
Our Mission
Project Healing Hive’s mission is simple yet powerful: to create access to complementary and integrative therapies for mental health and overall wellness to underserved populations and provide education to the community on their therapeutic benefits.

Our Better-Aid trust fund is dedicated to covering the costs of therapies that include, but are not limited to, mental health counseling, spiritual counseling, trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness practices, and integrative medicine like acupuncture, energy work, and naturopathy. Through this support, we hope to inspire and uplift individuals and families, fostering healing at the core of our communities.
Why We’re Here
After experiencing the profound impact of holistic mental health care firsthand, PHH’s founder
Kristen Morris-Yehiel and her daughter Eliana, recognized the need for accessible, community-centered support for mental wellness. Traditional treatments alone often do not address the complexities of grief, trauma, or chronic stress. Integrative therapies, however, offer a more personalized approach that honors the mind, body, and spirit, creating a pathway toward true healing. By creating a nonprofit community-funded trust specifically for underserved populations, we can bring these essential resources to those who otherwise may not have the opportunity to access them.

Through Project Healing Hive, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of holistic wellness and bring vital mental health support to underserved populations. With the support of our community, we are helping build a network of healing that extends compassion and care to all who need it.
